Employee to being an Employer: Experiences of Dynamics in Architecture Practice.  

 

In this talk, Bhairavi shared her experiences both as an employee in national and international firms as well as an employer for her own partnership practice in Ahmedabad. Having been on both sides of the design table she talked about the professional scope for employees to realise their strengths in design and execution. She also talked about the need for the architects, as employers, to go beyond design and deal with other complex issues of running and managing a practice. In both perspectives she discussed how a professional relates to his/her personal design philosophy and ethos
